Bloom where you are planted

Life isn't always what we imagine it would be.  Things happen that we don't want or expect.

How we respond and move forward is what matters.  Bloom where you are planted.

I wanted a reminder of that for myself, something I could see every day.

I started with this tiny little piece that I stitched on a scrap of 18 count aida cross stitch fabric using a very simple alphabet, a "rings only" tatted flower with one colonial (french) knot embroidered in the center.

I have a YouTube video showing how to make the "rings only" flowers.

I want to say that using the Stitch Fiddle website is wonderful!!

I didn't take any pictures of the 3D tatted rose, made with the same #10 variegated thread as the button flower.

But I do have a YouTube video describing the process.

Mark the glue line on the stick then glue it into the spool hole.

Optional - glue on some leaves, tatted, felt, fabric, paper.....your choice

Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful day! 😀
